Fresh eucalyptus bunch

Fresh eucalyptus bunch

£28.00

Our fresh eucalyptus bunches can be sent anywhere in the UK and make a wonderful way to treat yourself or a loved one.

This glorious greenery is the number one most requested foliage in our wedding work, so we think it’s safe to say it’s a pretty popular choice. This popularity isn’t hard to rationalise thanks to the beautiful dusky green leaves and that heavenly menthol-like signature scent that it brings with it. This will instantly give a room a chic edge and wonderful fragrance, and can be displayed simply by itself or mixed in with other flowers and foliage for a more elaborate arrangement.

Most often our eucalyptus bunches are made up of a variety called Cinerea – which is pictured – but occasionally we will mix this up if there is no availability or something else looked even nicer at the market that day. Where possible we source our products from the UK or Ireland to try to minimise environmental impact. In your bunch you’ll receive a handful of stems that are typically between 40-60cm long. These lovely little leaves are all wrapped up in crisp white paper and dusky rose ribbons so that they’re easy to give as a gift, should you wish to share the joy. The boxes they’re delivered in are made from recycled cardboard, and even our stickers and tape are compostable.

To keep your eucalyptus bouquet as fresh as possible, please treat it kindly after arrival. It will have been on quite the journey (couriers aren’t always known for being delicate!), so first thing’s first: a nice big drink. Simply trim the stems, snipping off a cm or so, at an angle, and plunge the eucalyptus into deep cool water in your favourite vase. To make your real eucalyptus bunch last as long as possible please do change the water every few days and keep it somewhere cool. If these steps are followed, we would expect the eucalyptus to last around a fortnight.

If you’d like to spend more time with your eucalyptus bouquet, then feel free to dry these little chaps out. Simply remove from water while still looking nice and fresh, hang upside down somewhere cool, dry and dark for a few days and then ta-dah – dried eucalyptus. Your bunch will look slightly different but will keep in this state for a good few months and can then be popped in a jar or vase again for the duration.

For gifts we can include a handwritten note, simply pop details in the notes section at checkout. If you like our eucalyptus bunch you may like our dried flowers or bespoke fresh flowers too.
